Natural Mulltifiber Fabric with eight fibers containing boiled off cotton, bleached cotton, mercerized cotton, unbleached linen, bleached linen, silk, viscose, and wool.

Multifiber Fabric #1 is a multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers, acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, silk, viscose, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester.
Available as 2″x2″ precut pieces, Multifiber Fabric #1 with overcast serged edges are heat sealed along the waste stripes and overcast stich serged along the filling stripes. This type of added edge finish prevents fraying and gives the multifiber test piece added stability. It can be used in rigorous colorfastness testing situations and is recommended for any tests that subject the multifiber fabric to increased agitation and movement. In AATCC colorfastness testing, heat sealed and overcast serged multifiber fabrics are used primarily to evaluate potential staining of a dyed or printed test sample on other textiles in wash tests where the test material experiences agitation and movement during the testing process. Multifiber fabrics with heat sealed edges should not be used in stationary tests because the raised melted edge can cause uneven staining between the multifiber fabric and test specimen.

Multifiber Fabric #1 is a multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers, acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, silk, viscose, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester.
The 3/8” wide filling stripes of the six predominant apparel fibers, woven in a two inch repeat and with a ‘separator/cutting/ waste’ stripe between each of the two inch repeats of the six fiber stripes to allow for cutting of consistent test specimens.
Note: Tesfabrics, Inc. does not accept any returns in case if any error occurs during cutting. For precision, consistency and efficiency we recommend MFF PRECUT PIECES available in Cold Cut Edges, Heat Sealed Edges & Overcast Edges.

Multifiber Fabric #1 is a multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers, acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, silk, viscose, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester.
Available as 2″x2″ precut pieces, Multifiber Fabric #1 with heat sealed edges can be used in dynamic AATCC colorfastness tests that involve agitation and movement of the test pieces. Heat Sealed multifiber fabrics have a melted or fused edge, which reduces fraying and increases stability in the multifiber fabric test fabric.
In AATCC colorfastness testing, heat sealed multifiber fabrics are used primarily to evaluate potential staining of a dyed or printed test sample on other textiles in wash tests where the test material experiences agitation and movement during the testing process. Multifiber fabrics with heat sealed edges should not be used in stationary tests because the raised melted edge can cause uneven staining between the multifiber fabric and test specimen, and results cannot be guaranteed.

Multifiber Fabric #1, is a multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers, acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, silk, viscose, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester.
Available as 2″x4″ precut pieces with cold cut edges. Multifiber Fabric #1 with cold cut edges should only be used in static AATCC colorfastness tests. Cold cut multifiber fabrics have a clean level edge. In AATCC colorfastness testing, cold cut multifiber fabrics are used to evaluate potential staining of a test sample on other textiles in stationary colorfastness testing scenarios. Multifiber fabric with cold cut edges will fall apart if they are used with agitation or in a laundrometer under mechanical action.

Multifiber Fabric #1-2 CCE, a filling stripe multifiber fabric with two inch repeats of approximately 8 mm [ 0.33 in.] filling stripes of 6 fibers (spun acetate, bleached cotton, spun polyamide nylon, spun silk, spun viscose, and worsted wool yarns woven on a warp of filament polyester-dacron )
Available as pre-cut pieces 2″x 2″ with cold cut edges.
Multifiber fabric is a single piece of cloth constructed with bands of different fiber types and is used as a tool for evaluating properties as colorfastness, dye affinity, and fiber identification.

AATCC Multifiber test fabric # 1, the six fiber (8 mm [0.33 in.] bands) containing acetate, cotton, nylon, silk, viscose and wool.
