acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, silk, viscose, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester. Available as 2″x2″ precut pieces with cold cut edges. Multifiber Fabric #1 with cold cut edges should only be used in static AATCC colorfastness tests. Cold cut multifiber fabrics have a clean level edge. In AATCC colorfastness testing, cold cut multifiber fabrics are used to evaluate potential staining of a test sample on other textiles in stationary colorfastness testing scenarios. Multifiber fabric with cold cut edges will fall apart if they are used with agitation or in a laundrometer under mechanical action.
