Multifiber Fabric #42 is the ISO DW multifiber fabric. MFF 42 DW has 6 warp stripes that measure approximately 15 mm (0.6 inch) each, of 6 fibers, acetate,
bleached cotton, polyamide (nylon), polyester, acrylic, and wool, woven as a 10cm wide (4 inch) ribbon, using filament polyester yarn.

This fabric was tested by the IAC and found to be an acceptable (SRC) standard untreated reference control fabric. It is a consistent, chemically neutral, viscose fabric that will exhibit predictable background microbial growth and odor absorption activity when used with methods such as AATCC TM100, AATCC TM216, ASTM E2149, ISO 20743, ISO 17299-3, and IACM 0714.

The ISO Adjacent Polyester is a plain weave, medium weight, polyester fabric. It does not contain any finishes, resins, binders, softeners, or dyes. It is used as a polyester single fiber adjacent fabric in ISO 105 tests. It conforms to the specifications outlined for adjacent fabrics and polyester in ISO 105-A01 and F04.
Adjacent fabrics are undyed cloths used in colorfastness testing for the assessment of staining. The general principal of the color fastness tests involves a specimen of a textile to be tested with the adjacent fabric attached to it. Any staining that occurs on the adjacent fabric after the test is evaluated.
