The Crock Clip is a stainless steel wire clamp used in a crockmeter machine.
Description
Crocking is the undesirable property of a dyed cloth by which the coloring matter rubs off the fabric and smudges or soils other materials with which it comes into contact. The crockmeter machine provides a reciprocating rubbing motion simulating the action of a human finger and forearm. It holds the crockmeter square on the crock finger, and keeps the rubbing material in place on the finger as the rub testing is administered.
