The rubbing finger for pile fabrics and textile floor coverings (carpets, but not rugs) is a rubbing finger with a rectangular rubbing surface with the lead edge rounded, measuring 19mm × 25.4mm, known as the crock block. Made with acrylic plastic. The dimensions of the rectangular acrylic rubbing surface is approximately 19.0mm x 25.4mm(0.75” x 1”).The rubbing block projects downward from the weighted arm of the crockmeter machine.
