$344.00 / Scale
The AATCC Gray Scale for Staining is designed to visually evaluate the degree of color staining from a tested textile to an adjacent material.
The scale consists of a series of gray chips arranged in numerical steps, each representing a visually perceptible difference in staining rating from 5 (no staining) to 1 (severe staining).

$344.00 / Scale
The AATCC Gray Scale for Color Change is designed to visually evaluate the changes in color of textiles resulting from colorfastness tests.
The scale consists of nine pairs of gray chips, which illustrate color differences and provide a corresponding fastness rating from 1 to 5, with 5 indicating excellent color retention and 1 indicating poor retention.
The AATCC gray scale measures color change. One half of each color chip pair is the same color as the untested specimen before colorfastness testing. The second half of the color chip ranges from the starting color (no loss of color) to white (loss of all color). The amount of contrast between the tested fabric and untested fabric is related to one of the pairs of gray color chips on the gray scale for color change.

$81.75 / Pack
Multifiber Fabric #10, a filling stripe multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers, acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, polyester, acrylic, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester.
Available as 2″x2″ precut pieces with cold cut edges. Multifiber Fabric #10 with cold cut edges should only be used in static AATCC colorfastness tests. Cold cut multifiber fabrics have a clean level edge. In AATCC colorfastness testing, cold cut multifiber fabrics are used primarily to evaluate potential staining of a test sample on other textiles in tests that do not agitate the test material. Multifiber fabric with cold cut edges will fall apart if they are used in tests that involve agitation.

Multifiber Fabric #10 is a multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers, acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, polyester, acrylic, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester.
The 3/8” wide filling stripes of the six predominant apparel fibers, woven in a two inch repeat and with a ‘separator/cutting/ waste’ stripe between each of the two inch repeats of the six fiber stripes to allow for cutting of consistent test specimens.
Note: Testfabrics, Inc. does not accept any returns if any errors occur during cutting. For precision, consistency and efficiency we recommend MFF PRECUT PIECES available in Cold Cut Edges, Heat Sealed Edges & Overcast Edges.

Multifiber Fabric #1, is a multifiber fabric with approximately 8 mm (0.33 inch) filling stripes of 6 fibers,
acetate, bleached cotton, nylon, silk, viscose, and worsted wool yarns, woven on a warp of filament polyester. Available as 2″x2″ precut pieces with cold cut edges. Multifiber Fabric #1 with cold cut edges should only be used in static AATCC colorfastness tests. Cold cut multifiber fabrics have a clean level edge. In AATCC colorfastness testing, cold cut multifiber fabrics are used to evaluate potential staining of a test sample on other textiles in stationary colorfastness testing scenarios. Multifiber fabric with cold cut edges will fall apart if they are used with agitation or in a laundrometer under mechanical action.
