The AATCC 9-Step Chromatic Transference Scale is an evaluation scale used to assess color loss, color transfer, and color staining in AATCC test methods.
Description
The scale consists of 9 chromatic color chips, representing the intensity of transferred color from Grade 5 (no staining) to Grade 1 (heavy staining). It includes five hues: red, yellow, green, blue, and purple, all selected from the Munsell Book of Color. A gray chip is also included to provide a neutral reference for visual comparison.
